I have read the other threads about people having poor sound quality. But here is my problem: My ringtones sound perfectly fine in iTunes and on iPhone, just how I created them. But inside iRinger itself the playback is very poor. The song will get very choppy and sometimes skip forward. It's hard to make a ringtone that begins or ends in a precise place when the song sometimes skips right there. Any ideas. edit: iRinger 2.2.0.0 on XP Pro

If you are using songs that you have purchased from iTunes, they have DRM. this would result in the choppiness that you've mentioned. Try recording the songs with another product such as Freecorder, or Replay Media Catcher and use those files to create your ringtone.

I am 100% certain I already replied to this thread, but it was deleted. Tasha made a bunch of double posts, methinks my post got accidentally deleted with her(/his?) doubles.
To the question at hand; I am not trying to make a ringtone from an iTunes purchased song. In fact, I don't even have any iTunes purchased songs in my library. The files in question are from CDs I have ripped and other download outlets.

Same problem. I noted this in a similar post too. Was hoping by posting in both, it would get some attention.
Thanks

This is difficult to troubleshoot, because I'm not getting this problem. Can you guys come up with any common denominators? have you added a certain effect to these ringtones...anything like that? DUB- oops, sorry! I had Media Catcher running and it caused quadruple posts - I guess I then got a little crazy with the deletions ;)
