Ok, this is just crazy, my friend just told me that netflix JUST changed their online movie viewing, while they used to let you watch 6-7 hours (for the basic plan) of movies online per month, they now let you watch them UNLIMITED.
What's this mean for you? Using
Replay ScreenCast, you can RECORD these movies to your computer now and watch them whenever you want. At this point in time, they've got 6000+ online movies, and that database is growing each day.
They use their new "netflix player", as of now, the ONLY program i've used/seen/tested that can record this is
Replay ScreenCastIf you have a PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 it gets even better, using your ps3 you can stream movies that are media player compatible on your TV from your ps3.....this is done via a network connection to your computer.
The xbox 360 is similiar, though I THINK you need to have the Media Edition of XP or Vista to use this. (If i'm wrong on this, let me know and i'll post a correction)
Anyways, Check out
http://www.netflix.com/HowItWorks, you just pay $8.99 a month and get unlimited movies online, on demand....that sure beats 6-7 hours of movies pre month!
Who needs them to SEND you dvd's in the mail when you can just view them and record them!
As for me, i'm signing up right now!
Enjoy, and thanks to Ohbeone (on this forum) for the tip!
