DOWNLOAD YOUR FREE DEMO OF Replay Video Capture NOW & RECORD 2 MINUTE CLIPS FOR FREE

Hey folks

I've had a few private messages requesting info on how to record from this site, so Warning on the content here. (It's xxx, x-rated, porn, porno, etc)

How to record www.cam4.com

TO RECORD FLASH BASED WEBCAMS (RTMP, SWF,FLV, ETC) OR LIVE WEBCAMS SUCH AS CAM4 AND OTHERS,

I recomend Replay Video Capture

It does NOT rely on streaming protocol, but rather just records what's on your screen. You can choose the area of the screen to record, and it's pretty much that easy!

Once again, try it for FREE here (you can download a free demo here): Replay Video Capture FREE DEMO

I've tested this on cam 4 dot com myself and it worked flawlessly. Plays back beautifully in Windows Media Player..

Anyways, I want to show you how easy it is to record from cam4

Step 1: Open Replay Video Capture

Step 2: Select the area you want to record. Either click on "Get Window" to auto select areas on the screen, or simply move the red and blue boxes to outline the area you want to record, could not be easier!

Step 3. Press "record"

Step 4. Press stop, then "play" to enjoy your video:

(This is a video I recorded from cam4, click it to view the quick 10 second cam4 recording I made from cam4. I could not post up a nude girl for obvious reasons....oh, the video is silent because she had her mic turned off...)

I Encourage you to try this for yourself for FREE, you can download a FREE demo of Replay Video Capture right now. the only limitation of the demo is that you can record a maximum of two minutes of video per recording. Once you purchase an activation code, you can record clips of any length.

DOWNLOAD YOUR FREE DEMO OF Replay Video Capture NOW, AND RECORD UNLIMITED 2 MINUTE VIDEOS FOR FREE, UPGRADE TO THE FULL VERSION FOR UNLIMITED VIDEO LENGTH RECORDINGS.

Hell, you can still download 2 minute videos even if you DON'T buy the full version! LOL But trust me, the full version is WELL worth it and you can record so much more than cam stuff. I regularly use http://applian.com/replay-video-capture/screenshots/main-recording.jpg to record Netflix movies on my pc as well.....my harddrive is almost full!

OH, the price of the FULL version just dropped $10.00 too, it's now listed at $39.95, while similar (and not as good programs) are going for $50.00 still! Buy it now before the price goes back up!
Let me know if you have any questions Whistle

I just wanted to follow up on this with a few trouble shooting Tips courteous of Applian.

There are often small issues with Video jumping, or audio not working that can EASILY be fixed with just a few clicks...please read below if you're having these issues or others:

IF YOU'RE HAVING ISSUES WITH VIDEO

To get the best quality video with Replay Capture - especially on slower machines - try the following:

1. Go to Settings, and make sure you are using the MPEG-2 video format. Also, you may want to click on "Recommended Settings" at the top and select the most fitting option according to your pc configuration.

2. Try recording from a smaller video window by resizing your player to 1/4 of your screen, or no more than 480x640 pixels. This won't affect the video quality (since video is scaled UP from smaller sizes to fit a full-screen picture). This will require less computer power to capture, which will make for smoother videos.

IF YOU'RE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH AUDIO

FOR WINDOWS XP ONLY: please Make sure you change the settings for "Audio Source" and "Stereo Mix INput" to use the "Universal Audio Driver" option (with no input source specified).

(If you're using Replay Capture 3.0, the Universal Audio Driver option will need to be enabled via 'settings')

IF YOU'RE USING VISTA, PLEASE IGNORE THE ABOVE AND DO WHAT'S BELOW:

Go ahead and refer to the following link for instructions on how to enable an audio recording line in Windows Vista:

http://www.applian.com/support-vista.php

Also, for vista, I would like you to go into the Settings of Replay Capture by clicking the "Settings" button, then click the "Audio Setup/Test button."

We are interested in what is listed under the Audio Sources. Is there anything there besides the Universal Audio Driver?

If so, when each of the other options are selected, is there a "Wave," "Stereo Mix," "What-U-Hear" or anything along those lines listed under "Audio Inputs" (The colum just to the right)? For example, My Audio Inputs says Stereo Mix, Line-In, Microphone and a few others..
